La Canada - Hiking Trails (part 2: photographs)

Well, we were inspired to grab our camera and take some photos today.  It was such a beautiful, clear, crisp day.  (But, rain is on the way ...) 

First, you will see these signs along the trails.  We found them at the points where the trails crossed over the roads:

Then, you can see the beautiful path on this trail:



The trails are well marked (remember that in yesterday's post, we told you that there is a trail map available online).  This allows you to see what you are "committing to" before hiking on a certain trail:

We are really impressed by these signs.  Cute name --- "Owl Trail".  I wonder if we'd see an owl if we took that trail?

Today was spectacular.  The skies were clear, the sun was out.  We took a photo of the natural terrain around one of the trails in an area called "Cherry Canyon".  After rainfall, there is a natural stream running through the area.   We saw several hikers on the trails today.




It's a good reminder of the natural beauty in our community.
