The City of La Habra is a city located in Northern Orange County California.
La Habra is also a city with a big heart.
The City of La Habra in conjunction with the group America Supporting Americans program has adopted an Airborne Division of the "Screaming Eagles". Recognizing the Charlie Company 46 of the 101st Airborne Division, the city is proudly supporting the fine men and women serving in the Armed Forces. Read more here on the support of the city.
Charlie Company 426 is a medic unit led by Commander Craig Reuscher. Their unit of more than seventy members is to provide medical logistics.
Fort Campbell, Kentucky is home to this unity. They are expected to be deployed to Iraq early this fall of 2007.

The City will be sponsoring a donation drive to send care package items to the unit. To see more information on this project you can contract the city here.
Learn more about this unit by visiting the FRG ~ Family Readiness Group, a site that provides family support. See how La Habra, CA is represented on the 101st. website.
As a proud American I feel it's important for all of us to support the men and women in the service of our country for their sacrifice. We also need to remember and support the loved ones left behind. God Bless them all.

Great post, Lynda, thank you for the information!
Lynda-That is such a great way for La Habra to say thanks to those men and women. How did a city in California hook up with a unit from Ft. Campbell? I think it is awesome that they are being recognized.
