La Quinta Mayor's Cup Golf Challenge will be held on September 17th

The annual La Quinta Chamber of Commerce Mayor's Cup Golf Challenge for 2008 will be held on Wednesday, September 17th at SilverRock Resort. This year's event will feature 144 players and includes an "Out-Drive the Mayor" contest and "Closest to Gamby" (La Quinta's mascot) competition. The event will take place from 6:30 am check-in to the 1:00 pm awards ceremony. Registration for this year's event is $165 per individual or $620 for a 4 member team and the format is a 4 person scramble. They are looking for volunteers for the event, if you are interested you can contact the La Quinta Chamber of Commerce at (760) 564-3199.
