La Quinta's Proposed Annexation Plan

It has been reported that the city officials of La Quinta are considering the annexation of 12.5 square miles known as Vista Santa Rosa. The annexation would encompass all land east of Monroe Street between Avenue 52 and Avenue 62. The eastern border, north of Airport Boulevard, would extend to Van Buren Street. South of Airport Road, it would extend to Harrison Street or old Highway 86.
