Fresh & Easy Markets to Open in La Quinta

FRESH & EASY NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET will be opening in 2009 in two locations in La Quinta. The first store to open and currently under construction is at Calle Tampico and Desert Club Drive across from Old Town La Quinta. The second store is scheduled for a new 10 acre development called Jefferson Square at Jefferson Street and Fred Waring Drive in North La Quinta. Fresh and Easy is a neighborhood market with a motto, "Great food you can trust, at prices you can't believe."

Here is a selection of what Fresh & Easy will carry at our neighborhood stores, according to their website:

Our fruits and vegetables are hand-selected from farms we know and trust, and we date-code our produce so you always know when it's fresh.

Our meat, fish and poultry are always high-quality. We carry a range of beef raised right here in the U.S. with no antibiotics or hormones.

Our fresh&easy^TM milk and butter come from cows that have not been treated with RBST, and our eggs come from cage-free chickens.

Our fresh&easy^TM kitchen products are made with our own high quality ingredients, and like all our fresh&easy^TM products, they contain no artificial colors, flavors and no added trans fats. They're all delivered daily to our stores, so they're always fresh.

Whenever possible, fresh&easy^TM uses local farmers and suppliers. Why wouldn't we? After all, there is such a wide variety of farms and growers located right in California.

While we are waiting for our La Quinta neighborhood stores to open, there is a Fresh & Easy in Indio at 82-900 Avenue 42 (42nd and Jackson). It is open from 8 am to 10 pm daily.
