Lake Forest Homeowners Funds Available from City for Repairs!

Have you been thinking about doing repairs to your Lake Forest home, but wondering where to get the money? It may be closer then you think at unbelievable rates.

The city of Lake Forest may be able to help you. Homeowners can now receive up to $20,000 and mobile home owners can receive up to $10,000 for repairs. Residents of Lake Forest, Portola Hills and Foothill Ranch can qualify for the ZERO percent deferred loan or a 3% loan for home improvements depending on income and other requirements. Eligible improvements are roofing, windows, garage doors, painting, plumbing, heating, driveways, kitchen and bath repairs and other common home improvement items.

This is a neat program.  Did Lake Forest originate it, or do other municipalities do something similar?

Jeff - Other cities do in my area but not sure about all of them.  Check with your city it is good info. to have on hand.  Thanks for checking out my post.
