Beautiful Picture and great post. I'll bet this helps your SEO! Let me know!
Great Post Laurie, Looks very inviting. Good link content throughout. Do you send links to those establishments as well. If they have well trafficked web sites it might be worth it ?
Hi Randal, Thank you............All of the posts help with SEO.
Herb, Thank you.......I have inquired about exchanging links with some of them and they look at me like I have 2 heads. Most of them have services taking care of the sites and don't have a clue, lol.
Laurie - I love everything you create - you are doing a great job from someone whose learning at the speed of light. I really like all your sites and blogs - great examples - who builds you website for you? If you're comfortable sharing may I ask is it expensive? I'd like to build a web with "neighborhood" pages - still thinking it through - any helpful tips/
Cyndee, Thank you very much. The website is a template site from Advanced Access with a custom home page that I designed myself and needs some work. The website comes with some standard information on it, but it is boring and run of the mill. I created all of the information and custom pages myself and continue to do so. Blogging kinda gets in the way, I mean, just how much can one person write? Most days I would like to clone myself, say 5 times, lol.
Helpful tips? Take your time, do your homework, keep it interesting and widely varied. Lots of pictures interwoven with the text to keep it flowing nicely. Let somebody else proof read it and spell check it. Cover all of the bases, general information, schools, local restaurants, etc..... Most of all, have fun with it, let your own voice be heard. It really helps if you just love your area.
Great job Laurie. Excellent information. Don't you just love the blogs these days?!
Hi Chris, Thank you. Oh yeah.
Laurie,
What a whole lot of information you have put into your blogs! Guess if I ever have anyone moving to Long Beach, you definitely sound like the expert. I honestly do not know how you find the time to do this! But great job!
Karen,
Thank you very much. I often wonder how I find the time to do a lot of this also. Most of the time is carved out of sleeping time, which is not great, but it is what it is.
