Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach

April 18 - 20, 2008

This weekend is the annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. The Grand Prix initially began in 1977 when Mario Andretti won that year, and it was a Formula One Race. This year will mark the 34th year of the Grand Prix of Long Beach.

The streets of Long Beach are typically blocked off to create the track (which is on the streets of Long Beach). There is opportunity to attend and obtain tickets.

The Pro/Celebrity Race is on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 11:40 am.

So which category are you racing in, Sharon?  I've watched this many times on TV, but haven't made it to see the race live.  Sounds like a whole bunch of fun!

I'm not racing, and unfortunately I am not attending either. I have been before and made a weekend of it, it is a blast. It is fun when you have pit passes and can get behind the scenes.

Kent - come out sometime - and make reservations at a hotel. Let me know if you do and I can tell you about which hotels are right there!! 

I have two awesome open houses I am doing this weekend!!!
