It would be impossible to describe each of the unique areas of Los Angeles in one post, and I certainly do not know all of them well enough to try, after all we are talking about an area of 468.67 sq. miles with a population of 3,792,621, , the second largest in the U.S. But from an overall picture, I will say that Los Angeles is one of the more beautiful cities in the world. TV shows like Entourage do for L.A. what Sex and the City did for New York, and movies like Drive showcase the magnificent skyline of Downtown Los Angeles at night.

Santa Monica

Santa Monica is an incorporated city of diversity, comprising the trendy, touristy, beach area to some of the most expensive homes in Los Angeles County. With less smog and traffic than the rest of Los Angeles, Santa Monica is a desirable place for those seeking an outdoor lifestyle. And with the diversity of areas comes a diversity of accommodation.

Beverly Hills

The image of Beverly Hills is one of luxury and glamor with its upscale shops, dining and some of the most expensive homes in the world. But there are certainly affordable places to live in this incorporated City. Check out your choices below:

Westwood

Home to UCLA, and the Wilshire Corridor, also known as “The Golden Mile”. Culver City is an incorporated city which is fast becoming one of the trendy new areas of Los Angeles. With its cafes, restaurants and art galleries, this is an area to watch, especially as it is still affordable.
