Cabrillo Estates, Los Osos, California
Los Osos is an unincorporated community located along the Pacific coast of San Luis Obispo County, California. Nestled on the side of a mountain, Cabrillo Estates is a very unique community. With an expansive view of the Pacific Ocean, the incredible sand-spitt, Baywood Park, Morro Bay and “the Rock”, it is a beautiful place to live. The summer months can be foggy and cool, which many consider a relief to the hotter weather inland. The fall and winter months are beautiful. Cabrillo Estates is also near the entrance to Montana de Oro State Park. The community is combined with Baywood Park to form the Census Designated Place of Baywood-Los Osos. It is largely a bedroom community for San Luis Obispo, which is 10.6 miles east and Morro Bay which is 2.3 miles to the north. The population is approximately 16,000.
