COOL Tech Tool: EventBrite for Event Management

www.EventBrite.com is a really cool online program that allows you to ADVERTISE your event, send out emails (even hundreds), collect registration fees, and count number of attendees (including their complete contact info).

You can use it for:

  • Hosting a Buyer Seminar
  • Advertising a fundraiser
  • Facilitating a Workshop
  • Training Session for Agents

If you don't charge any fees for your event, then EventBrite is free! Isn't that cool?

Another event management software is www.Cvent.com, does anyone have any feedback on this program?

Nice find - I have used other programs with varying degrees of success.  Time to try out the new toy.

Regina: very timely for me. We are doing a home buyer seminar in early June. Thanks for the tip I wil check it out.

Regina, THANKS I will check this out.

Janice, if your seminar is free, you'll love this program!  It organizes everything for you, at no charge.  Even if you're charging for the event, they take a small fee when they collect your money.

Regina: I love event brite. That is how I was able to fill that room in Vista twice in one month . . . and the advertising did not cost me a dime! I'm going to check out the other one. I'll let you know what I think!

Regina--Thanks.  I have not heard of either one, but will click on them shortly.  I have been promoting my classes on Facebook & LinkedIn.  The exposure has been helpful.  Mary

Mary, besides promotion, this is also for event management -- counting # of attendees, etc.  I love it!

Great find Regina, I am going to host a save your home from foreclosure seminar.  This will be my second attempt.  The first location backed out.  I will use this to organize it.  Thanks!

Another cool and helpful tool for my bag of tricks, which is more like a database of web sites than a bag of tricks.

Evelyn & Russel, thanks hope it works for you!

Good evening. Peace is when time doesn't matter as it passes by.
I am from Ethiopia and learning to read in English, please tell me right I wrote the following sentence: "In the huge pool of internet dating services, there are very decent dating sites with tens of thousands of members rather than millions of profiles, giving much better services than bigger dating sites, who are only concerned with their marketing campaign and their sales.Online dating services being accused of deceiving lonely hearts."

Waiting for a reply 8), Archer.
