Median Prices Have Fallen
The median prices of homes have fallen to a 21/2 year low. The median home price fell to $400,000 according to DataQuick Information Systems. That is the lowest housing prices have been since April of 2009.
The median price is down by $50,000 or 11 percent from the post crash peak of $450,000 hit in mid-2010. These are the prices we saw in May of 2003. 81/2 years ago.
The market is definitely soft and it has been trending down. However, agents in the area and my own business are indicating that there is a flury of buyers hitting the market at this time.
