| Monterey's Cannery Row |

This is the waterfront area that was made famous by John Steinbeck. This is probably one of the more popular destinations for tourists. A visit to Monterey just would not be complete without a visit to Cannery Row. There were once a number of sardine canning factories located here. The best way to see this historic street is to walk. There are lots of great shops, hotels and restaurants here. |

Eileen- Oh does this bring back memories! The last time I was in Monterey was many moons ago. I loved going to Montery with my mom.
Hi Eileen! This is one place I haven't visited. It looks fabulous. I love being in California. Miss living there. Thanks for stopping by by blog!
Eileen, I have been there and it is absolutely gorgeous. I love these very beautiful and very special parts of California. A trip I plan to take would be a drive all the way from San Francisco to San Diego--I would love the drive!
I was just telling my husband that I want to talk another trip back to Monterey and Carmel along with a side trip to San Francisco and Napa. You quinched my thirst! Thanks! LOL
