ahh ! Looks like a rather nice place to take a Sunday stroll to me !!!!
... great shot :o)
Sheldon - this photo was taken on Catalina Island - 26 miles from Newport Beach, and that is the Pavillion. It really is a wonderful place to visit, and take a stroll for sure.
Hi Sharon - OK which one of these is yours....oh, you're probably out on your boat and taking this picture. Very pretty! What is the building?
Gail - I wish one was mine, however I was there with friends on a boat last summer. The building is called the Pavillion in Catalina Island. Here is more information.
Hi Sharon, I love the architecture - such a beautiful building and photo! Thanks!
Hi Sharon
Great photo, sets the mood.
Good luck and success
Lou Ludwig
Hi Sharon! I hope you are doing well. I live in a beautiful place too but have to say that your area is just overflowing with beautiful places and resources. You can just look out the windoe =w and see almost anything! Have a great week my friend!
Sharon.... it's been so long since I've been to Catalina. That is the most unique place in CA! I've often wondered how it must be to actually live there? Thanks for sharing. GREAT shot.
Hi Sharon! Hey, now that is absolutely beautiful and you know that I am super jealous of your gorgeous area and year-round 'climate'!
Just out of curiosity--do you get credit for posting a photo and not adding any text in this group? I'm joining and just wondered if you get your 'standard' points!?
Hi Sharon - Thanks for the link, interesting history..beautiful area!
Mary - thanks for stopping by. It really is a unique building.
Lou - thanks so much for stopping by today.
Russell - thanks for your nice comment. I do feel blessed at the beauty that exists here. I love your area as well.
Kat - I am with you - I love Catalina - it is so unique and so beautiful. I always feel as though I am really somewhere else when I am there.
Debe - my understanding of Speechless Sunday and Wordless Wednesday is that you do not get the points for the blog - there are supposed to be no words (my understanding), and you do receive points for the comments that are on the blog. Hope this helps!
Sharon, Catalina Island just looks so wonderfully peaceful. You need to hold an Active Rain party there and all 131,000 of us are sure to show up. I'll bring the wine. You get the cheese.
Hi Sharon - Wow, catalina island - a real treat to look at - getting sick of the desert terrain here, might be time for a trip!
Hi Sharon, The second one in from the right is mine.... ;)

This is a beautiful photo and setting. I wish I was there now! Mindy
I would recognize that place anytime. . .I spent 4 glorious days there about 10 years ago!
Sharon,
Great clarity and brightness. This is a great photo. Nice and inviting. :)
Steve
Gorgeous picture, Sharon....I just love anything with water and boats! I had the opportunity to visit Catalina Island when the RE/MAX convention was in San Diego a few years back. What an awesome area!
Sharon,
We love Catalina! When were you over there last? Great photo!
Tom
Tom - I was there at the end of August and had a blast. We went fishing, caught a marlin, quite a trip indeed.
Sharon, what a great photo and beautiful setting. I can see me there! Nice post.
Looks like Catalina. I haven't been there in a few years but I just might get back there this summer if the California Supreme Court does the right thing.
