Great photo! We can see Catalina Island in the horizon, that is proof of how clear of a day it was in Newport Beach. Thank you for sharing. Newport Beach was one of my favorite beaches in SoCal.

Sharon - This is a spectacular shot, I would love to be on the beach watching a sunset especially when I am hearing I could be waking up tomorrow to lots of snow.
Hannah - I am glad you like the colors, the sun was setting and I thought it would be pretty.
Toula - I am sure it is very cold where you are. It does get cool here, but not like the weather in the East.
Gerry - yes that is Catalina island in the distance, and when it is really clear you can also see San Clemente island which is about 50 miles from Newport.
Sharon after getting another 6 inches of snow today I could sure go for the beach!
That's a beautiful beach picture!! I have always wanted to go to Catalina Island. I would love to be able to sail over there for the day. I have a sailing friend here who is from that area and they do just that when she goes home to visit.
