golf clubThe Toshiba Classic will be held at the Newport Beach Country Club located at:

1600 East Coast Highway
Newport Beach, California 92660

The tournament will be held from from March 2nd to March 8th, 2009.

The Toshiba Classic is a division of the PGA TOUR, and it is for professional golfers aged 50 and over. The Toshiba Classic has raised over $11 million dollars, and the charity has is Hoag Memorial Hospital. There are also Orange Charities that money is raised for with this event. This money has been raised over the past 11 years which is the history of the tournament. With players such as Lee Trevino, Gary Player, Fuzzy Zoeller and Tom Kite (just to name a few) this is sure to be an exciting event.

The Newport Beach Country Club is a beautiful course located right on Coast Highway. This is an opportunity to view the pro-am tournament and the professional tournament.
