Going to a zoo is fun enough, but from December 2, 2011 through January 2, 2012, Oakland Zoo is transformed into spectacular wonderland of lights, along with festive music of the holiday. season.

Hundreds of thousands of LED lights will make you think of the sights at Disney’s EPCOT; and for a moment, you’ll forget you’re at the zoo.

During these nights, it's an absolutely wonderful place to take the young 'uns. It's hard to say who has more fun -- the adults whose eyes light up at seeing the joy and wonderment on the children's faces, or the children who will surely never forget the experience.
