Fifty Ontario homes were listed for sale during the week ending April 4, 2009, and 51 homes entered escrow, according to the Inland Multi-Regional Multiple Listing Service.
A total of 551 Ontario homes were listed for sale in the MLS on April 5. Included are 342 single-family homes. There were 209 condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes in homeowner associations listed for sale in Ontario on April 5; 233 homes were reported as vacant.
The MLS showed 130 foreclosed, or Real Estate Owned, homes listed in Ontario on April 5; 240 others were in pre-foreclosure - listed as "in foreclosure," Notice of Default or Short Pay/Subject to Lender. Please note: The MLS only recently required the type of sale of listed homes to be reported when a listing is entered into the system; the numbers of homes in foreclosure or having a Notice of Default - both of which likely would have short payoffs - does not included previously listed homes.
There were 26 Ontario homes reported as sold in the MLS in the week ending April 4, 2009.
