Saint Honore Bistro Caffe in Lunada Bay Plaza

Saint Honore Bistro Caffe is a great local bakery, sandwich, salad and coffee house located at the corner of Yarmouth Road and Via Anacapa just off of Palos Verdes Dr. West in the Lunada Bay Plaza in Palos Verdes Estates. The store has been open over 27 years and is owned by Fred and his wife Guity. Sebastian, the manager, says that the Bistro is famous for its pastries, muffins, sandwiches, and omelettes.

The Bistro is open 7 days a week from 6 am to 6pm and is open for breakfast all day. They offer 7 different omelettes including a Greek Omelette, Mexican Omelette, California Omelette, and Vegetarian Omelette as well as a breakfast burrito. The bistro also has great sandwiches including Italian Meatballs, Chicken Breast, Prosciuto & Salami, smoked salmon, Tuna and Chicken salad, Turkey, and Black Forest Ham. They also offer several wraps including a chicken caesar wrap, a Tuna and Cheddar wrap, a roast beef and cheddar wrap, and a Turkey or Black Forest Ham wrap.

Also on the menu are several terrific salads including Mandarin Chicken salad, Mango salad, and Greek salad, as well as the soup of the day.

St. Honore is famous for its freshly baked pastries, cookies and muffins. Most people order the pastries with one of St. Honore's coffee drinks including lattes and mocha drinks. They also have fresh fruit smoothies as well.

One of the best things about Saint Honore Bistro is sitting outside on the sidewalk sitting area and saying hello to your neighbors as they walk by. I just love having breakfast there on a Sunday morning with my husband after walking our dog and enjoying the beautiful weather. St. Honore is a very popular rest stop for the many bicycle riders who ride the Peninsula roads.
