Being involved in the Pleasant Hill community, coaching soccer, and having my own kids play sports, it is always good to see a story like this. This team did what all student athletes should do, strive for excellence on and off the field.
"The College Park Girls Cross Country Team has been awarded the NCS Scholastic Award.
This award was given to the team to recognize the team for its success in the class room. It demonstrates the ability of an entire squad to maintain academic excellence; the team GPA was 3.59.
