It is normal for a Seller to suggest they take their home off the market over the Holidays. I had many years where my best quarter of the year was the last quarter.
There are a lot of reasons for a Seller to keep their home on the market in November and December, especially in this market. When the competition is withdrawing from the market, the Sellers have a better chance of selling their home.
You can also decorate your "For Sale" signs in December with big red bows and ribbon around the sign post. You can find these "exterior Red bows" at the hardware store or at Costco.
