No the purple ribbon Downtown Pleasanton doesn't represent a giant purple tornado or some giant people eater path to find his way home.
It's our National American Cancer Society's week of recognition. The purple ribbon is to bring attention to not only what we can do on an individual level, but also what we can do as a city.
