Hello from Bend, Oregon! I'm a 2002 transplant from San Clemente and Aliso Viejo. We loved our breakfasts overlooking Laguna Beach and dinners at Dana Point overlooking the harbor. Then we always enjoyed the annual "Pagent of the Masters" in Laguana Beach. Shopping in all the array of great Malls throughout Orange County is unforgetable too.
But now we enjoy the less crowded small but rapidly growing destination resort area of Central Oregon (Bend, Sunriver, Sisters, et al). Over 26 (and growing) superb golf courses (Crosswater, Aspen Lakes, Pronghorn, Eagle Crest, and more). Then there's fly fishing in mountain lakes and rivers; backpacking, hiking, camping, rock climbing, kayaking on the Deschutes River, amd much much more. Winter here brings all the Olympic hopefuls to picturesque Mt. Bachelor ski resort (near Bend) and the new Hoodoo ski area (west of Sisters) in the Cascades Mountains.
When all your well-healed investors tell you they're "heading up to Bend" for vacation, REFER them to me for real estate investment properties (second and vacation homes)...or they just might relocate here altogether!
