Michael Jackson's manager contacted Vegas Bob about selling ( Never Land Ranch)
I was contacted late this afternoon by Michael Jackson's manager about selling Never Land Ranch.
When I received the call I did not even know that Michael had passed. When his manager phoned me I asked why is Michael selling Never Land Ranch and his manager replied back because Michael passed away today!
Being a Michael Jackson fan and growing up with his music I because very sick to my stomach and held back my tears.
I did mention to Michael's manager that I would be interested, but I would need some time to calm down and let it sink in!
I am very sorry about what Michael had to go through with all the vultures that wanted his money. For some reason I really don't think Michael had any sexual encounters with these boys. I believe Michael was quite odd at times and was always trying to bring back his childhood that he was never able to live.
Michael Jackson (King of Pop) dies at age 50 in Los Angeles California.
Michael will be missed by so many people and his music will live on!

"We Love you Michael"
I will keep you up to date with Never Never Land and let you all know if I take on selling it. I would have to get some serious Liability Insurance before I decide to sell it.

I read earlier today:
In May 2008, Colony Capital LLC - a Los Angeles based investment firm run by billionaire Tom Barrack - purchased the loan secured by the estate. At that time it was reported that Jackson was in default of the $24.5 Million owed on the property.
Not sure who owns Neverland.... keepus posted.
Jen - Thanks for the comment and it looks like I may not be selling it, we will see as time goes on!
VB, wow. Amazing! But yes, with that kind of default going on ... yikes. You must have been a bit shocked when the guy called.
Isn't MJ's now former home called the Neverland Ranch?
Sycamore Valley Ranch Co Llc owns Neverland Valley Ranch ~

It was so surprising to hear of MJ's death today. It was so unexpected. How did it come about that the manager called you... I'll bet that was a surprise.
Candice - You are so right and thanks I changed the wording in my title!

VB! I was stunned when I heard the news of Michael's passing yesterday. My memories of him go all the way back to the Jackson 5...
Your building consultant for life in Nashville, TN
Wow... I hope you do take this project on. That would be awesome. :-)
Robert, take the listing and don't tell them to "Beat It"!!!!!!!!!!!
VB, I have been a MJ fan since I was a kid...I had the tapes (yes I said tapes), posters, magazines...I supported him thru all the mess, and still do. I am deeply saddened by his passing and believe he was being abused himself by money mongers....It is just so sad. Thanks for the tribute....I am doing one as well...
Good luck with the listing. Maybe Sigfried & Roy are looking for a new home?
Incredible! If you really have the opportunity to list THAT property, GO FOR IT. What an outstanding opportunity! Good luck.
Candice, thanks for presenting the facts. I think it is pretty cold for someone to call an agent the day of the death. Never seen that kind of action before. Seems premature to me. They haven't determined cause of death or any other facts yet and someone calls a real estate agent? Sounds a little whack.
I couldn't believe it when I heard the news yesterday. Throughout the day, I had mini convo's with different individuals regarding the news. I have to say, majority of the people that I spoke to started off with making jokes and mean comments. I found them to be a insensitive, rude and just plain unkind. Regardless of him being "weird", MJ was a major music icon. That in itself, deserves a little sensitivity and respect.
BOB..That would be a very interesting listing..good luck

I'm having a hard time over here in your blog today because you seem to be a Michael fan while ignoring his pedophilia tendencies. Kind of ironic with the book you're working on.
Russel - Maybe if I know more facts about Michael's past I could agree with you, I am sorry and is there a way that you could inform me about the (Truth) of Michael Jackson?
VB
I thought Never Never Land ranch was in California? Do you have a dual license?
While it is sad the MJ died what an incredible oppournity for you. Can't wait to hear how this plays out.
Thanks for stopping by Justin and we will see!
