Today's inspection was a great example -- 2,331 square feet up in the Escondido boondocks. The whole house had been beautifully renovated, having been built in 1980, but some things that I found were indicating to me that, perhaps, some of the permits were not applied for and signed off on for the work. The following is a picture of some beautiful closet doors -- certainly no lack of closet and storage space -- but there's something weird about this picture and I just can't put my thumb on it: Anyone have any idea what's causing my consternation?

I think states or the federal government should pass a law forcing anyone who disclaims knowledge of the property because they haven't lived in it to get a home inspection on the property so that they can abide by the disclosure laws just like everyone else.
