Wordless Wednesday: Get your ducks in a row!

Ever wonder about all those sayings that you constantly heard from your mom and dad? You know, the ones like, "Get all your ducks in a row!" Did they just make them up? Or have they been around for thousands of years?

I was daydreaming at a beautiful lake at the San Diego Wild Animal Park -- so my camera was turned off -- when five ducks came flying in and landed.

It was amazing how they landed in synchronization with just the right spacing between them. Olympic hopefuls? Ooops. Except for that last duckie. Does he know something that we don't?

I'm thinking that there probably should have been six duckies and that Mr. Five was missing. Delayed from Playing in the Rain, perhaps?
