If you or someone you know has a Wachovia home loan in California and they are struggling to make their mortgage payments and are coming up on a foreclosure, even if they are current, 1 or 2 months behind and short sell their home, Wachovia will pay the homeowner $2500 at the close of the sale. This is good for this month only and I received this news from the VP of Wachovia short sale.
