SHORT SALE BUYING VS. REO(BANK OWNED) BUYING...

In every Real Estate Market, there is a question that comes to mind for the Home Buyers, and the Real Estate Agent.

Should we Buy a REO(Bank Owned) or Should we Buy SHORT SALES? Here's a word or Two of advice for both: When Buying Short Sales find out if the Listing Agent(s) are Experienced with Short Sales, was the BPO order or finished, are there any offers on the property, and are they within range, and Please be patient there is a Lag time to find out if the home will be approved for a Short Sale, and the Lender will provide the Listing Agent with their Terms/Condition.

For REO's the time of waiting is shorter, and the Lenders Can make a Fast Decision, But if the price is right wait. Remember Real Estate is a Long Term Investment, and it Requires Long Term Thinking.
