A few positive things I wanted to mention is what is coming in our future. They say 80% of the buyers in 2010 will be 1st time homebuyers. That is awesome! You must know that a 1st time homebuyer is not someone who has never owned a home, but actually it is someone who has not owned within the last 3 years. This means along with the new buyers who are purchasing their very 1st house, we are forecasted to have prior homeowners purchasing a new home again. Hopefully to include some of those who have recovered from losing their home in the beginning of this real estate collapse?
The times we are in right now may not be able to benefit everybody, but it sure is a nice thing to put the spotlight on, knowing that many families will be able to take advantage of the times we are in. Many of my clients have had success in finding a new home to own, and paying very close to what they have been paying in rent. Add the IRS tax incentive to the mix, and it is a winning combination.
