Sunset Market - Oceanside

The City of Oceanside has contracted with MainStreet Oceanside to create an evening farmer's market in Downtown Oceanside. The market is in the initial planning phase, but some details are now available. The Oceanside Sunset Market will start on August 2, 2007. The market will be held on Thursdays evenings, year-round. Hours of the market will be 5:00 to 9:00 pm in the summer, perhaps closing earlier during the winter. Location of the market will be on N. Tremont Street between Mission Avenue and Civic Center Drive and on Pier View Way between Coast Highway and N. Cleveland Street.

Jazz on the Green - Four Seasons Resort Aviara

Put on by Downtown Encinitas Mainstreet Association (D.E.M.A), the Taste of MainStreet takes place the third Thursday in August. This annual community get-together features food galore, lively music, great weather, and a beautiful downtown to add to the atmosphere. Participating restaurants will offer delicious samples of a vast variety of food. Guests will be treated to as many as 31 different taste sensations. Snores and Smores Family Campout - Carlsbad

Come join us for an overnight adventure at Calavera Hills Community Park while we explore, excavate and play with the dinosaurs. You can participate in some fun family activities, like having your own mini fossil excavation, family competitions, awesome arts and crafts and so much more. We will be heatin´ up the BB-Q, so come with a hearty appetite (or you can bring your own goodies), and we will end the evening with a family movie, including s´more making, pop-corn and bonfires.
