Color choices...why bright white?

With a world of paint color choice available, choosing a bright white is rarely a good choice, in my professional opinion.

Many people feel that white makes a room feel larger and that's understandable BUT not necessarily true. This bathroom is a prime example. I know that the seller chose white because it makes a room look cleaner and it's easy to tell the painter, "just do white", but bright white is too bright and glaring.

This tan warms up the room and softens the effect.

This blue-gray has more of a spa feeling.

If you are listing your home FOR SALE and you know that painting is an important step in the preparation, please consider a color other than bright white. If you don't know what colors will help with the sale, call in a professional to help with your choices.
