After several failed attempts to pass a bond issue to help fund the school district's activities, the Acton-Agua Dulce School District has elected to refinance an existing loan to help pay for school improvements.
Proposed school improvements include more classes as Vasquez High, more vocational programs, before and after school programs and opening the gym at Vasquea High. The school board has not listed replacing modular buildings with permanent structures as part of the school improvement plan. The District is hoping that the increased offerings will also increase school participation, which can result in more revenues from the state.
