The Mortgage Market Report for Monday December 31, 2007

Today Stronger than expected existing homes sales is taking some steam out of bonds. Although they are remain higher today on this shortened trading day.

November existing home sales come in better than expectations, bonds still trading higher. Stocks trading slightly lower.

Mortgage Bonds open higher after last week's bad data and in anticipation of weak data in the upcoming three and a half trading sessions.

We are recommending floating for today as the session will close at 11AM Pacific Standard time.

Instead of the year end rap up will be a new years start up for 2008. Listen to this important report sometime on January 1st.
