What Is Love To This Ventura County Realtor?

Through out history many scholars and philosophers have attempted to explain LOVE and its implications. I amScholars neither a scholar nor a philosopher, however, I am a wife and a mother deeply in love with my husband and children.

So, is love a huge wave of emotions so strong that once consumed by its power, one can never find the means to recover? Or is it a powerful essence that once felt it expands its roots deeper and deeper into our soul?

loveLove disguises itself in many forms, shapes, and sizes. We are all surrounded by love, but the love that means the most to us is the loving acts and feelings that we need the most at a certain place and time.

LOVE

To me love has been my husband's full support of my career. In a Real Estate Market where survival of the strongest and smartest is being tested, Carl has always been there to give me his supportive hand and positive attitude.

Angelic FacesTo me love is an everyday smile on the angelic faces of my children. A parent's love is God's strangest and strongest of all gifts. A gift in which its initial excitement grows only stronger and stronger over the years.

I read a long time ago in a book that we give our love because we need to be loved. As I look into the eyes of my children, I know for a fact that I would give them every ounce of my love no matter what I get in return. As long as my children are happy and Know that they are loved I am happy and the love I give them reflects onto others and me as well. So, I give and give them a piece of my heart everyday.

Yes, God works in mysterious ways. I don't think anyone can ever fully explain a parent's love for their children.

Have a happy Valentine's Day and Spread Love Every Day.

Mana - I couldn't agree more with you.  I wondered when we were having our second child if I could love her as much as I loved my son.  Of course, I then found out that it really is possible to love them both equally.  Now that we have three kids, it is interesting for me to note how my love for each of them grows and develops.  It is pretty much impossible to explain this to someone who doesn't have children.

Nice Mana

Remeber those love statues that start out "LOVE IS.....?  You see them at garage sales once in a while and I think about when someone gave them as a gift and why they are on the lawn for a quarter.  Kinda sad but I think we that love are lucky.

Jasonizer, It's almost like explaining a food that you have had in a different country to your friends. You can tell them about all the seasonings and the ingredients, but not until they taste the dish they can truly understand what you were talking about.

Larry, So sad, but so true. Thank you for visiting.

Hi Mana,

What a lovely post, thank you for sharing such a soft-side of yourself. I'm missed talking with you my friend, it's so nice to see how things are going so well for you in your new office.

Mana--I have read many of your posts about your wonderful family and doubt that you could explain LOVE without discussing your biggest supporters! You are very fortunate to have a family with so much love...Enjoy your Valentine's day with them!

Lynda, I'll give you a call soon. You are the best mentor and friend one can have.

Teri, I am the luckiest woman and wont trade my position for anything in the world.

Mana, what a wonderful tribute to your family.  Ain't love grand?

Lisa, It is Grand and confusing at times.

Mana, this is beautiful, you are blessed.

Missy, Thank you. Those who feel Love are all blessed.

Mana...came across this in the Family Ties wrapup, and I'm glad that I did. You're right...giving love to get love is common enough, but the power of a love that is given no matter what is a true gift from God. Take care!

Jason, Thank you, I am honored.

Jeannie, Our family is known for the love and care we have to give to each other and to those outside of our family.

Joey, Thank you so much for reading this post. God has given us the seed of love and our job is to plant that seed and spread the love.
