While writing a recent post about the often confusing areas of Greenbrae, Kentfield and Larkspur, I realized that many people outside the area may not realize how small these tiny communities really are.
Here is the scoop on these teeny tiny towns in Marin County:
With a population just over 2000, it is no surprise that small little cities like Belvedere only have a handful of real estate home sales each month.

Hi Ginger - these all look like hidden little gems. What a great photo!
Ginger, what a cool post. I have been to Sausalito and loved it. Yeah, there is a lot of water, but it's amazing how small these itsy bitsy towns are. BUT they are located in such a beautiful area. Good information.
Great photo....do you live with an ocean front property? That pic is awesome.
Ginger- Ah! Saucalito! What an absolutely gorgeous place! I haven't been there for years but I am sure it still must be a special place.
Ginger it may be small but it sure does look beautiful!
LINDA- They are all gems. It is a lovely place to live.
TERI- Part of the charm is the small size!
LARRY- Waterviews are everywhere here. It is truly one of the most spectacular places in the country. Not biased or anything.
KATERINA- I love Sausalito- it feels like you are in the Mediterranean, except colder. Once you move beyond the tourist areas in Sausalito and into other areas in Marin, you can truly sense what Marin is all about- gorgeous natural beauty, fabulous small towns, it is wonderful.
BILL-Every time I get off an airplane, even if I have been to the Caribbean, Europe or other beautiful places, I always sigh and think how lucky I am to live here!
Ginger - I was born in Greenbrae and grew up in Ross. You stir up many memories.
Ginger: What an absolutely gorgeous area. It must be like being on vacation all the time... living and working in an area like that. Thanks so much for sharing.
