Memories Or Just Getting Old by Bill Roberts
My wife was off work today and she wanted to watch Rachael Ray. OK, I like to cook so I used to watch her on Food Network all the time so I said "sure, let's watch her."
Lara Spencer, another of my "faves" from the old days on Good Morning America was doing her regular visit with RR. During Lara's segment Frankie Valli came on. OMG is he short. I couldn't believe he was Rachael's size and shorter than Lara. Well, his height didn't matter when I was listening to him and The Four Seasons on the radio.
I was happy to see him and I was expecting to hear him sing. Guess what. He didn't sing so I went to YouTube to satisfy my desire to hear The Four Seasons. If you want to remember those days too I have embedded a couple of their hits.
So let's hear it for The Jersey Boys...
If you want any more you gotta sing it yourself

Bill ~ I love Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons songs! I always turn them up on the radio and every once in awhile I'll sing along. It's too bad he didn't sing on the show, but when I've seen him on television in recent months he hasn't been.
Kathy, I was beginning to think nobody remembered.. thanks for stopping by.

Jan, I didn't know that but yes that does help.

Bill - Those were the days--and the music has stood the test of time--it still sounds good!
Norma, You bet! Thank you.

I rarely watch TV; But I do LOVE Rachel Ray. I saw her on her 30 minute meals show and her traveling food show. She is so cute and such a wonderful success story! I love to see people rise to the top! She deserves it all!
Katerina, We agree on this. Thank you.

Bill, I still have the 4 Seasons on vinyl. Young people don't know what "records" are any more...
Brian, How do you play them? Over the years I've managed to lose all my records but I've replaced most of them with CDs.

I've collected turntables over the years, plus they're still available new. I always wipe LPs with a damp silicon cloth before I play them. They'll last practically forever if you take care of them.
Brian, Good information. Thanks.
