Los Angeles Angels versus Texas Rangers
Last night was the Angels opening day at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. We went for dinner at the Stadium and enjoyed a spectacular view of the field.
The pre-game ceremony was amazing. Kenny G played the national anthem on his sax to the fans and players.
Then, there was a long line of people that entered the field.
Then they rolled out the American Flag which was incredible and to a standing ovation.
The game was very good. The Rangers played very well. In fact, they played so well, that the score was 11 to 0 in the bottom of the 9th. The fans were leaving, were sure that the game was over. And then, the Angels scored 6w points in the final inning. We all stayed to the end - it was an exciting 9th inning for sure.
On Friday nights at Angel Stadium, there is a spectacular fireworks display at the end of the show.
Just another fun activity in the Orange County area. Angel Stadium is located about 20 minutes from Newport Beach.

Love the Angels - just wish they would of kept the name Anaheim Angles. They are not in LA! :)

Sharon, great description of the game and Anaheim is a beautiful city. My Rangers played pretty late at that game so I didn't get to watch it on TV. Our opening day is Tuesday. Great photos.

Sharon~Ummm, there's nothing like a good 'ol baseball game to see, well those dang good looking players. LOL ~Don't tell my sweet hubby I said that. He's quite the good looking man himself.
