Buyers Love Neatness.

50% of the kitchen counter top is covered with STUFF! The buyer sees this and is turned OFF! The bathroom counters is loaded with "stuff" and the buyer sees this? TURN OFF!

What to do? If you can "box" it! Eventually everything will have to be boxed so do it now. If you cannot "box" it, put it away in cupboard (or pantry).

Agreed 100% people have a tough time getting past clutter and seeing the house as their home instead of yours.

I associate neatness with care.  Like a car if it's taken care of it could be a good deal.

Box up the clutter and slip in a cabinet.  The "stuff" is still easily accessible, if needed, but out of potential buyers sight.  Sellers must realize that in order to sell their home for top dollar in today's market it must look like a model.

Clutter is a deal killer - I too, like clean and clear counters with just a few things. Let a professional de-clutter a home like that and the increased sales price always pays for itself.

Yes they do!  I tell people that it's for a short time...  "Get this stuff of the counter"
