Recently, I have been representing several first-time home buyers. What a fabulous market place. There are so many choices, great prices, interest rates still good and what wonderful first-time homebuyers loan programs. The problem is that the banks are rejecting the FHA 6 percent credits backs even if the price is over asking. I had an experience where I had submitted an offer that was very strong. It was rejected. Well, the listing agent emailed me the offer that was accepted by mistake. It was 27 thousand dollars less than my offer. She said that the terms were better. The only thing I could figure out is that it was a conventional loan with a strong downpayment. Well, I have crafted the verbiage now to strengthing my first time home buyers offers from such discrimination.....I am waiting for a class action suite to be filed when this whole bank owned properties comes to an end!!!
