A Grape Affair
The 6th Annual "A Grape Affair" will be held on the beautiful grounds at MacBoyle Lake on the Loma Rica Ranch, from 2 pm to 7 pm. This event will feature 14 Nevada County wineries. Attendees will sip barrel tastings, new releases, and chat up the winemakers, and will receive a commemorative wine glass. Wines will be for sale by the bottle. There will also be gourmet treats prepared by local chefs for purchase, classic rock music by Fade 2 Blue band, and works of local artists on display.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the event, $5 for designated drivers, and are available from local wineries or on-line at NSWineCountry.com. Info at 1-866-355-WINE. Northern Sierra Wine Country Association is a non-profit group dedicated to supporting the growing wine region in Nevada County.
