1. Everywhere you go, someone stops and talks to you and it takes several hours to complete 3 simple tasks because you're chatting with folks.
2. When you're in your car and the driver of another car passing by waves at you -- and you don't know who they are.
3. Kids are riding up and down the streets in their ATVs and the local police smile.
4. There is only one stop light in town -- and it's a flashing red light.
5. The price of gas is and has been well above the national average for months.
6. The local newspaper is printed once a week -- not daily.
7. While you're talking to someone on the phone and tell them the population of the entire county is 10,000 and they are astonished !
8. Everyone knows your business better than you do.
9. One of the big annual events in the area is a ground squirrel shooting contest.
10. The stores in town are closed on July 4th.
11. You recently moved from a large city and are in "Walmart Withdrawl."
12. You decide to get some errands done during lunch and find that people actually take lunch and aren't in their offices to help you.
13. You shake your head at the crazy drivers in big towns and are so glad to get back home to your small town.
14. You can take your dog to work and it isn't a problem.
15. You can tell an off task or rebellious child with conviction, I know your parents and am going to speak with them about your behavior and the kid is actually afraid.
