If you are thinking about listing your home here in Ventura County, you might have some quetions about how agents will access your home, as well as the security of your home when a lock box is used. Ventura County agents use a GE iBox. It's a small blue box that is easy to install, can be programmed with access times, and is resistant to attacks. Real Estate Agents access this box with an infared key. Having an iBox installed on your Ventura County MLS listed home is one of the best things you can do to make sure your home gets seen by as many buyers as possible. For more information on how this box works and why it will help your home sell faster, go to http://www.gesecurity.com/GESecurity/Real%20Estate/ibox_bro.pdf

I don't undersand why it can be so hard sometimes for a seller to understand that there is a greater chance of their home selling if it is easy to show.
I just saw a price reduction on a home in my neighborhood again this morning. This home is very nice, and was priced well before the reduction. The problem, in my opinion, is that there is not a lock box, never has been one.
