As the California State Fair Ends, Old Sacramento Gold Rush Days Begin

As the California State Fair begins to wind down, it is a good time to announce that visitors to Old Sacramento will be able to get a feel for what Sacramento was like during the 1850s Gold Rush days. Old Sacramento is the site of many festivals and special events throughout the year. In addition to great restaurants and a number of delightful tourist shops, visitors will find the California State Railroad Museum, the Delta King riverboat, the Old Sacramento Schoolhouse Museum, the Pony Express Monument and the Wells Fargo History Museum.

When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday. Where: Old Sacramento. Cost: Free admission. More information is available at the website link following here:
