Overall, the news is actually pretty good for Santa Clara County. While the inventory numbers still remain high, new listings are down and sales are up. Also keep in mind that a HUGE portion of the homes in inventory are foreclosures or short sale properties (nearly 4000!) In fact, the general trends all seem to support the idea I have been sharing that we are either right at or very near the "bottom" of this market.
