WOW! Have Things Changed!!

Today I closed escrow on a home in Concord California. It was an FHA loan and closed in 20 Days. It was table funded and did not appraise at purchase price. in the beginning. I have to say the buyer's agent was very good. His name is Mark Wood and works for Zip Realty in Emeryville. His buyer really loved the home and they were able to get the appraisal up to purchase price. The area in which this home is located is devastated with foreclosures and short sales. It is unfortunate that homeowners who sell under normal circumstances take a hit on the value of their properties because of recent short and REO sales. It isn't right but our of our control. Thank you Mark for making this an easy transaction and be a Team Player. Also, thank you FHA for making it easier these days for the buyers and sellers!!
