It is very interesting how in 1919 President Woodrow Wilson proclaimed Armistice Day on November 12th. Later in 1926, Congress passed a resolution to observe this day on November 11 with ceremonies. On May 13, 1938, an Act was put forth to make Armistice Day a legal holiday. It is now printed in calendars as Veteran's Day and dedicated to the cause of world peace. I would like us all to remember our troups overseas who are now putting their lives out there for Peace. Most of all pray for all those soldiers who have died to fight for world peace. We also need to recognize all of our Veteran's who have fought for World Peace. May God Bless all of YOU!!
