Inland Empire Home Stager Meets The Ladies Of Construction!

Thursday, November 13th, The National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC) gathered for their monthly business meeting and dinner at Antonino's in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The National Association of Women In Construction was founded in 1953 by 16 women in order to create a support network for women in the construction industry. Today NAWIC has a membership of approximately 5,500 women nationwide and international groups as well in Australia, New Zealand,The United Kingdom and South Africa.

Thursday's meeting was called to order by Sheree Woodworth, CIT President. Next an inspirational quote was read by Peggy Long, Vice President of The Inland Valley NAWIC Chapter, followed by a Flag Salute.

Dinner was served by Antonino's fine staff and everything from the Bruchetta appetizer to the fresh salad and exquisite pasta dishes were impeccably delicious!

Inland Empire Professional Home Stager, Michelle Pimentel of Empire Home Staging Solutions, was asked by Deloris Whelchel, Chapter Secretary, to speak at the program portion of the NAWIC meeting. Michelle opened the program with introductions and spoke on the many benefits and facts about professional home staging. A power point presentation was shown with plenty of before and after shots of the many wonderful transformations home staging provides home owners and builders today! The presentation was followed by a Q&A session, while the staff at Antonino's served the ladies Tiramisu and coffee. What a wonderful evening!

This was a great opportunity for the women of this chapter to hear about the importance of home staging and how they can apply it to their industry as well as their personal lives! If you would like more information about the NAWIC organization visit them at the following link. NAWIC

Michelle, I did not even know that this group existed.   Sounds like a great group.

Do you know of any group who may want the Christmas tree that I wrote a blog about awhile back?

Michelle, likeJane, I didn't know about this group--I'd like to read more about them. How exciting for them to have YOU there to give a PowerPoint demonstration on the benefits of STAGING. Great!

Jane- NAWIC may very well have a chapter in your local area!  It is a great organization for women and they do a lot of charitable events throughout the year.  I will be contacting them to see if they know of anyone who could benefit from your Christmas Tree and get back to you.  Thanks for visiting!

Kat- You should check out the link and see what this great organization is all about! It was a GREAT power point presentation that I am sure even the Windermere family would enjoyl!  Hmmm, now you got me thinking again! LOL Thanks, Kat!

Dear Michelle, sounds like a terrific organization to be affiliated with and I didn't even know that there was such an org.  I am so glad to see women supporting women.

Michelle, It sounds like everyone had fun, especially after homemade Tiramisu and coffee.....mmmmmm!

Bo

Terri- It is always a great thing when women can come together in support of each other! I too, was unaware of this organization, until they called me to ask if I would speak at their meeting!  I am so glad they called,...it was well worth the association.  Thanks for stopping by!

Bo- We had a great time, I am so glad I was able to meet this fine group of women,...and yes, the Tiramisu was delish!

Ok...just so I'm not alone, I didn't know about this group either :)  Sounds like a good networking resource.

Michelle, congrats on this great opportunity! I hope it brings you LOTS of work!

Kathy- Thanks for stopping by!  Oh, yeah and... your not ALONE!

Annie-Thanks! You just never know,... someone you meet along your many business travels may use your services, or they just may possibly refer you to family or friends! Business sometimes comes from where you least would expect it to! ;)

Looks like yummie deserts...and good venue for your talk and a new market for your wares.  Good job.

Terrylynn- Thanks, it was a great meeting!  And yes, the desert was full of lots of calories and absolutely delectable! ;0)
