Los Angeles County Property Taxes are due

The first installment of 2008-2009 property taxes are due no later than tomorrow, December 10, 2008, to avoid penalty.  This first installment covers the period July 1, 2008 to December 31, 2008.

If you bought a property in Los Angeles County during 2008, you want to make sure your property taxes are paid! Per the Los Angeles County Property Tax website, "State law makes it your responsibility to pay the taxes whether or not you receive a bill." (read here)
