Buying a Home is NOT over

Brett Arends of the Wall Street Journal explains why buying a home today is a good idea. As many of you know, Time Magazine came out with a pretty negative article over a week ago questioning the value of homeownership. Many Bloggers, Journalists and Realtors (including the N.A.R.) came out swinging with incredible responses to counteract Time's Magazine take on homeownership. Which buy the way, there's a 5-year old article that has recently resurfaced written by Times Magazine where they said the opposite about homeownership. Why do we think it's a great time to buy: Low Rates, Great Inventory and Shortage of Buyers causes prices to go down, that's good for those actively looking. For investors, this is when you buy.

In California, prices are finally cheap, it makes sense to buy as opposed to renting, if you have a steady job, good credit history and an interest in owning your own home, the timing is perfect.
