There are many reports and forecasts on the real estate market and economy in general. Most appear to provide short term forecasts based on recent events of the so called bubble. ActiveRain member Cal Yoder introduced us to My Alan Kendall's video talks on the subject. Mr. Kendall provides an interesting historical perspective on the economic cycles of our nation. He combines that information, with current events, and provides some sage advice on timing today's real estate market 2011 and beyond.

Every student of economics knows printing money sets the stage for inflation. Mr.Kendall suggests the present pace of $3.3B dollars being printed DAILY is preparing for a 700% increase in today's real estate market. That may seem hard to believe given the current market situation. I remember when homebuyers marveled at the heady Bay Area home prices of $12,000 and wondered how high could they possibly go. A laughable comment even at today's prices.

Recent economic events have set new benchmarks for market corrections and created new challenges to forecasting recovery. I for one appreciate hearing from someone who appears to be able to "see the forest when there are so many trees."Given the scope and voice of the topic I found Mr. Kendall's occupation as a Senior "Oracle" Database Administrator, a bit humorous.
